The Streets of the World photo exhibition can be seen continuously on Eduard van Beinumstraat, next to Zuidplein. The exhibition shows images of street life in all 195 capitals of the world over a length of 230 meters. Photographer Jeroen Swols roamed the world for seven years for this mega project.

VU Griffioen, VU ART SCIENCE gallery and Rialto VU present a program about artificial intelligence (AI) and its far-reaching consequences for society. This exhibition shows photo portraits of androids by Wanda Tuerlinckx. The artist will also discuss (English language) the evolution of life and robots with Professor of AI and Robotics Guszti Eiben. Rialto VU shows the classic scifi movie Balde Runner by filmdirector Riddley Scott. Prior to the film, professor Guszti Eiben and photographer Wanda Teurlinckx will discuss (in English) the role Blade Runner has played in their work. Eiben is a professor of Artificial Intelligence with a focus on robotics, while Teurlinckx has not only portrayed Philip K. Dick, the writer on whose story Blade Runner is based, but has also done fascinating portraits of androids. Starts at 8 PM. More information and tickets.
