Zuidplein rainbow staircase winner announced

A grand total of 1,891 people voted for one of the three designs for the new rainbow staircase in Zuidplein. The winning design, by architect Marianne van Lochem, received 721 votes.

What will be built in the Rosy Wertheimstraat?

Together with local residents we are redeveloping the Rosy Wertheimstraat. On a large scale, residents opted for a green layout, without benches. The provisional design is ready, and we will start implementing it in the spring of 2021.

Beacon of light repaired

With the complex restoration of the light artwork White Noise, on the almost 150-metre high media tower of Cellnex, the skyline of Zuidas is complete again from 18:00 o’clock on 2 December 2020. Due to wear and tear, the LED lighting was no longer working well.

Huge gatekeeper adorns square in front of new courthouse

At a height of around 5 metres, the artwork ‘Love or Generosity’ by Nicole Eisenman is difficult to miss. The statue is in front of the new courthouse, on a square that will be accessible to everyone from mid-December 2020.
