On 5 May 2023, we started replacing the roof of the existing passageway at Amsterdam Zuid station. In the future, it will be much taller and wider than it is now. To make that possible, we demolished part of the existing roof. A photo report.
While the A10 Zuid motorway is closed from 22 July 2022 onwards we are going to be vibro driving 80 sheetpiles into the ground which are needed for the Brittenpassage excavation work later on. This work may cause noise pollution. We invite you to attend the drop-in meeting on Tuesday 5 July.
From Saturday, 16 July until Friday 22 July, Line 52 (the North/South line) will not be running to and from Amsterdam Zuid station. During that time, we are doing construction work on two new, temporary metro platforms. This is a precision operation in an area the size of a postage stamp. So why are we doing it and how?
