Liesbeth Schouten exhibition in new courthouse

In the new courthouse at Parnassusweg 280, Liesbeth Schouten is exhibiting a series of paintings entitled Cityscapes until the end of December 2021. In her colourful, free-style impressions of the courthouse itself and other buildings in Zuidas, she creates a new and warm cityscape.

Zuidas launches the 'green walk'

City Council votes to approve museum in former courthouse

In Parnassusweg, the development of the museum for contemporary art in the former courthouse building (part of which has protected monument status) is now a step closer. The City Council voted to purchase the building on 15 September 2021.

Work starts on multifunctional building De Puls

Construction work has started on De Puls, yet another incredible eyecatcher in Zuidas. Boasting housing, offices, a cinema, bars and restaurants, the building embodies what the Innovation Quarter (‘Kenniskwartier’) is set to become: a vibrant part of Zuidas and Amsterdam.

New sports park and AFC club building officially opened

Goed Genoeg, the new public sports park, and the new AFC clubhouse were officially inaugurated on Saturday 4 September 2021. The sports fields have been moved slightly to the north to make room for new houses in the residential district of Ravel.
