5 July: walk-in meeting about Zuidasdok summer works

Starting on 16 July 2022, major works will be taking place at and around Amsterdam Zuid station. In addition to road and track closures, people may also experience noise nuisance in the neighbourhood. Come along to the walk-in information meeting in the WTC on 5 July 2022.

Dutch Building Day proves hotspot for 1,800 people

It was a hot day. Whether you were on the roof, on the work site next to the A10 or between the railway tracks, or took part in one of the guided tours. But, despite this, there was a lot of interest in Dutch Building Day in Zuidas. Around 1,800 people came to take a look.

Closure of A10 southern carriageway will be a complex challenge

Around 9,500 vehicles per hour use the southern carriageway of the A10 heading towards Utrecht at peak hours. But between 22 July and 3 August, the A10 southern carriageway and the A4 towards Utrecht will be closed. What will happen to all that traffic? That will be quite a challenge.

18 June: Dutch Building Day in Zuidas

On 18 June 2022, you have an opportunity to see the real Zuidas. During Dutch Building Day, you can gain access to construction sites and we’ll show you around the neighbourhood. Join us in Mahlerplein, right next to Amsterdam Zuid station. It promises to be a fun day out, including for children.

Final design for the ‘green gateway’ at Kop Zuidas

The Kop Zuidas neighbourhood will get a new ‘green gateway’. It will be an exclave of the larger Hogelandplein and the design has now been finalized. We will start work on creating the green gateway at the start of 2023.

OBA NEXT not coming to Zuidas after all

OBA NEXT, the innovative and inspirational location for learning and development, will not be coming to Zuidas after all. This was made clear in the coalition agreement presented by the new municipal council on 25 May 2022. The development will be moved to Amsterdam Zuidoost instead.

Zuidasdok report on the second half of 2021

Zuidasdok has updated Amsterdam City Council and the Dutch House of Representatives on progress made in the second half of 2021. The renovation of Amsterdam Zuid was given the go-ahead and the tender procedure for tackling the De Nieuwe Meer interchange was initiated.

Friday art walks in May and June

On six consecutive Fridays in May and June 2022, you can enjoy an art-themed walk through Zuidas. The route takes you past a variety of art collections and exhibitions, including an exhibition by the Bijbels Museum (‘Biblical Museum’) in Circl Pavilion.

Between 22 July and 3 August, the A4 and A10 Zuid will be closed in the direction of Utrecht. The trains will run a revised service. What does this mean for you? Ask&GO can provide you with personal travel advice, e.g., via Whatsapp.

Steel structure on Beethovenstraat for metro platform

Between 8 and 13 May 2022, we are working overnight on the viaduct underneath Beethovenstraat. We are installing a steel structure that will form the base for a metro platform. Between 22:00 and 06:00, we are closing the road to traffic in one direction as well as the pedestrian and cycle path.

€100 travel voucher for a sustainable, accessible Zuidas

Is it really possible to keep Zuidas accessible while also reducing your CO2 footprint? It certainly is if you opt to leave the car at home more often and travel off-peak. We are currently running a pilot to find out what works best. If you participate in the pilot, you could receive a travel voucher worth €100.
