Nhow Amsterdam RAI

Nhow Amsterdam RAI will be a four-star hotel with unique facilities. It will be located in the triangle between RAI Amsterdam, the A10 orbital motorway and Europaboulevard, and its 650 rooms will make it the biggest hotel in the Benelux.

With the worldwide renowned architectural firm OMA as a designer, Zuidas will once again gain an icon. The designers were inspired by RAI itself: the Signaal, the advertising column that has stood in front of the complex since the opening of the Europahal in 1961. Both the hall and the column are a national monument. Hotel Nhow Amsterdam RAI builds on the Signaal, with its special stack of triangular elements.

Nhow Amsterdam RAI will be more than a hotel. On the top two floors, at a height of 91 meters, is “On Air”. On Air includes a restaurant, a lounge, a conference room and a multimedia studio. On Air is accessible to hotel guests and visitors.

Realisation

The design is by OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture). The developers are COD and being Development. Pleijsier Bouw Nijkers is responsible for the construction itself. Hotel Nhow Amsterdam Rai was established in collaboration with RAI.
