Plots C2/C3

Plots C2 and C3 are located along the ‘extended’ Parnassusweg, opposite the Warnersblokken apartments. There was a temporary courthouse on these plots for quite a while, because much of the old courthouse was demolished and rebuilt. The land on plots C2 and C3 is owned by the Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB). The ultimate plan is for housing and offices to be built here. These development plans have been made down in a policy document (Nota van Uitgangspunten).

The RVB initiated a sales procedure to enable this development, but was ultimately unable to award a contract to a developer. This was because the market saw the need for a change to the zoning plan as an obstacle. For this reason, RVB will now initiate the procedure for the zoning plan change itself, based on the earlier policy document for this location approved by the City Council.
