- Launch of tender for A10 Zuid tunnel The tendering process for the construction of a motorway tunnel at the centre of Zuidas has been launched. We are diverting part of the A10 underground in order to extend Amsterdam Zuid station. This is all part of the Zuidasdok project.
- Construction work starts on housing next to Beatrixpark Behind the offices of AkzoNobel and Stibbe, we have started preparatory work for the construction of two residential towers. Upcoming work will include installing sheet piling into the ground. Construction is expected to start next year.
- Demolition work continues on car park under A10 Zuid We are currently in the process of partially demolishing the former Atrium car park underneath the A10 Zuid. This work is necessary because this is where the entrance to the additional station passageway – the Brittenpassage – will be. All of the concrete removed will be reused.
- Everything at RDC ADORE revolves around cooperation The ADORE Research & Diagnostic Centre (RDC ADORE) reached its highest point in June. From 2025, this Amsterdam UMC building will be home to innovative research and diagnostics at the cutting-edge of cancer and brain diseases. We went to take a look.

- Progress made on plans for pocket park next to PI59 At the start of 2023, people in the Prinses Irenebuurt area had an opportunity in two rounds of digital consultation to express their views about the future use of the PI59 parking deck and the street next to it. Should it be used for plants and flowers, a boules court or a basketball field?
- Emergency helicopter moves homebase out of Zuidas The homebase for the emergency helicopter serving Amsterdam UMC, VUmc location, is moving to the western harbour area on 19 July 2023. The helipad on the roof of the VUmc will be maintained for the time being, but the number of flights will be significantly reduced.
- Parnassusweg closed for two months for traffic exiting city Because the metro viaduct across Parnassusweg is being widened, the carriageway in the direction of Amstelveen will be close to cars and buses between 24 July and 1 October 2023. However, slow traffic can continue to use Parnassusweg during the works.
