Circl

Dit is paviljoen Circl. Architectonisch is het misschien niet spectaculair, maar qua duurzaamheid is dat wel het geval. Circl is volledig recyclebaar. Zo is het gebouwd van tweedehands raamkozijnen, geïsoleerd met 16.000 oude spijkerbroeken en bestaat al het meubilair uit petflessen die uit de oceaan zijn gevist. In Circl vinden onder andere bijeenkomsten plaats over duurzaamheid. In de keuken van het restaurant tovert de kok de heerlijkste maaltijden met producten die supermarkten anders weggooien.

Het ziet ernaar uit dat Circl over niet al te lange tijd zijn leven elders voortzet. Samen met het kantoor van ABN AMRO staat deze plek een grote herontwikkeling te wachten.

    The ABN AMRO Kunstruimte (Art Space) offers space to one of the largest corporate collections in the Netherlands. The collection provides a broad picture of post-war visual art in the Netherlands. In addition to changing exhibitions, the permanent collection can be visited, with works by various modern art movements and artists such as Willem de Kooning, Donald Judd, Roy Lichtenstein and Anish Kapoor.

    StreetArt exhibition Building Connections

    On the Maurice Ravellaan you can visit the open-air exhibition 'Zuidas: Building Connections'. Nine street artists from the Netherlands and abroad transformed 120 m of construction hoardings into colourful street art, with themes such as hope, future, past, experiences, community, unity and acceptance. Free access.

    Exhibition On Limits

    On Limits explores the tension between our rich inner world, where everything seems possible, and the limits imposed by the world outside. The exhibition features work by Lotte Werkema, Eva Spierenburg, Joshua Serafin and Meiro Koizumi. Based on the artworks, scientists from various disciplines engage in dialogue with the artist and the public, creating a multidisciplinary perspective on dealing with norms and limitations.     Discover the story of Zuidas. During this walk, we’ll compare the residential and office districts, explore unique buildings, and gain a sense of the changes in this rapidly developing area. We start at the Information Centre Zuidas-Zuidasdok. The tour is in Dutch but Q&A in English is possible. Participation is free and no registration is required; simply join in. As you stroll, you’ll gain a unique glimpse into the development of the Zuidas district and the Zuidasdok infrastructure project. There are no costs involved but registration is required.
