Guided Zuidas + Zuidasdok tour on Saturday

Join us on a discovery tour of Zuidas and the major works of Zuidasdok. On the last Saturday of the month, our guide will take you on a tour of the area. As you stroll, you’ll gain a unique glimpse into the development of the Zuidas district and the Zuidasdok infrastructure project.

Guided Summer Tours

This summer you can find our Information Centre at the pop-up location (the colourful wagon) on Gustav Mahlerplein. Open Monday to Thursday from 11.00 to 15.00. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you can join information officer Gijs or Jelte on a free guided tour of Zuidas or Zuidasdok.

Please note: tours may be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions. In that case, we wil inform you as soon as possible.

Guided summer tour: the final touches on the Brittenpassage

As we work hard towards the opening of the new Brittenpassage on November 1st, you will learn all about this new station entrance and what Amsterdam Zuid station will look like in the nearby future.

Guided summer tour: mountain walk among tall towers

During this walk, you will learn everything about the tall towers in Zuidas. About the architecture, and about their visitors and users. Did you know, for example, that more and more people are coming to live in Zuidas? The tour concludes with a “mountain walk” across Valley, from where you overlook the new residential neighbourhood Ravel.

Guided tours on Wednesday afternoon

Every Wednesday afternoon (starting 12 August), a guided tour departs from the Information Centre Zuidas-Zuidasdok. No registration is required; simply join in. We offer two types of tours, which alternate weekly: one week (odd weeks) we’ll visit the Zuidasdok projects, the next week (even weeks) we’ll take you through the Zuidas area.

Zuidasdok technical tour (odd weeks)

Would you like to know which construction techniques we’re using to renovate Amsterdam Zuid station and build the tunnel for the A10 Zuid motorway? How we slide roof sections for the new station passage into place? What challenges arise from building in the limited space within the station area? Then join this tour.

Zuidas tour (even weeks)

Discover the story of Zuidas. During this walk, we’ll compare the residential and office districts, explore unique buildings, and gain a sense of the dramatic changes in this rapidly developing area.
