From Saturday 19 July to Monday 18 August 2025, the Parnassusweg is closed in the north (city) direction between Gustav Mahlerlaan and Strawinskylaan, for the construction of a temporary tram stop by the Amsterdam Transport Region (more information via TEA@amsterdam.nl).
Please note: the Amstelveenseweg will also be closed during this period (11 July to 20 August 2025).
Cyclists and pedestrians
- From Saturday 19 July to Monday 25 August 2025, the crossing for cyclists and pedestrians on Parnassusweg at Gustav Mahlerlaan will be closed.
Cyclists and pedestrians can use the crossings at the A10 (north of the work site) and De Boelelaan (south of the work site). - From Saturday 19 July to Monday 18 August 2025, the cycle path on the east side of Parnassusweg between Gustav Mahlerlaan and the A10 will be closed.
Through-going cyclists can use the two-way cycle path on the west side of Parnassusweg.
Public transport
- From 19 July 1:00 AM to 25 August 5:00 AM, 2025, there will be no trams running between the A.J. Ernstraat and Amsterdam Zuid station (Strawinskylaan) stops, but a shuttle bus will be available.
- Tram line 25 runs between A.J. Ernststraat and Uithoorn Centrum and vice versa.
- Tram line 5 does not run between Amsterdam Zuid station and Amstelveen Stadshart.
