From 16 February to 8 March 2026, there will be traffic disruptions at the Amstelveenseweg near the A10 viaduct.

  • Pedestrians and cyclists
Pedestrians will be guided around the work site during the day. From 9 PM until 5 AM the following morning, they will follow an alternative route via the other side (east side) of Amstelveenseweg or via Piet Kranenbergpad. Cyclists will be diverted throughout the day via one of these alternative routes.

  • Buses and trams
Buses can always pass the work site without any restrictions, so the bus station will remain open. The work on the tram line will be carried out outside of the scheduled timetable, so trams will also always have access.
  • Metro station accessibility
The metro station is accessible during the day via both entrances on Amstelveenseweg (east and west). Access on the west side is restricted from 9 PM to 5 AM; we advise travelers to use the east entrance.

Work
We will be constructing two “construction gates” to our construction sites next to the A10 viaduct over the Amstelveenseweg.
