Zuidas is developing into a vibrant residential district when there is always something to experience and where people can meet each other. Our agenda aims to keep you informed about events, large and small, and about the information meetings on the development of Zuidas that we regularly organise for residents and interested parties.

  • ABN Amro Kunstruimte | Mahlerplein 1
    ABN Amro Art Space

    The ABN AMRO Kunstruimte (Art Space) offers space to one of the largest corporate collections in the Netherlands. The collection provides a broad picture of post-war visual art in the Netherlands. In addition to changing exhibitions, the permanent collection can be visited, with works by various modern art movements and artists such as Willem de Kooning, Donald Judd, Roy Lichtenstein and Anish Kapoor. The ABN AMRO Kunstruimte is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

    AkzoNobel Art Space

    The AkzoNobel Art Space, on the border of Zuidas and Beatrixpark, houses the AkzoNobel collection of artworks by internationally renowned artists and young talent. AkzoNobel has been collecting and exhibiting contemporary art since 1996 and the collection is intended as a source for innovation and creative reflection. The AkzoNobel Art Space is open Monday to Friday, from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

    Weekly Zuidas market

    Every Thursday between 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM you can visit the Zuidas market on George Gershwinplein: the place for fresh groceries, delicacies and various tasty snacks for lunch.

  • VU ART SCIENCE gallery | De Boelelaan 1111
    Exhibition Water Views

    This exhibition and a series of dialogues bring together the perspectives of artists and researchers on the subject of water. Different approaches to water are explored: from colonial trade routes to the ecological impact of our changing climate. With work by Valerie van Leersum, Tanja Engelberts, Suzette Bousema, Huniti Goldox and Jana Romanova. On view until 24 October 2025.

  • Apollolaan, Minervalaan, Churchillaan en Zuidas | Amsterdam
    ARTZUID 2025

    ARTZUID 2025 will transform the public space in Amsterdam Zuid into an open-air museum from 21 May to 21 September 2025. The sculpture route, with works by 60 artists, focuses on Amsterdam 750 years and the city's characteristic freedom and tolerance. The 5-kilometre route runs along Minervalaan, Apollolaan and Churchilllaan. The starting point is at the Artzuid Information Pavilion, at Minervalaan 1, Amsterdam. Free admission.     Guided tour Zuidas

    With this tour (in Dutch!) you will learn everything about the development of the Zuidas area and the Zuidasdok infrastructure project, while walking. Time: from 13.00 to 14.30. There are no costs involved. You can register via the registration form. Please note: if the tour is full, it is still useful to register for the waiting list. There is a chance that you can still participate, we will let you know if so.

  • Botanische Tuin Zuidas | Van der Boechorststraat 8
    Botanic Garden: Japanese day

    On this Japanese day there are various stalls with Japanese products, Japanese food, Ikebana workshops, and much more, in the Botanische tuin Zuidas. You can also take a look at the permanent collection of bonsai and bamboos. Sunday 1 June from 12:00 PM to 05:00 PM. Admission is free.

  • Botanische Tuin Zuidas | Van der Boechorststraat 8
    Botanical Garden Tour

    The first guided tour (in Dutch) of the year in the Botanical Garden Zuidas, given by expert volunteers. Time: 13.00-14.00. Cost: €7.50 per person. Registration is possible up to two days in advance via rondleiding@botanischetuinzuidas.nl. More information.

    ToekomstTiendaagse in Zuidas: many free activities

    We are organizing numerous exciting activities during the ToekomstTiendaagse in Zuidas, from Thursday 12 to Saturday 21 June 2025. Join us on a construction safari (with "spot the construction Big 5" for children), view the Ravel residential area in 3D from a lookout post, listen to the classical concert by female composers, take part in various guided tours or visit street artists and their works. There is much more to do, every day. The full program can be found here. All activities are free, be quick and sign up for one or more activities. Note: some activities (guided tours) are Dutch spoken.

    Yet Zuidas Run 2025

    On Friday 13 June, sports enthusiasts can once again participate in the annual Zuidas Run. Run 5 or 10 kilometers with colleagues in a business team or individually! The George Gershwinplein serves as a festival site with food trucks, a dance floor, DJ and an afterparty. More information and registration: Zuidasrun.nl.     Café De Blauwe Engel invites you to their Summer Party 2025, on Friday, 27 June. With food and drinks, live acts, DJ's and a dancefloor. Freely accessible to everyone.

    Art Camp: summer holidays

    At this educational craft camp, children will work on various art assignments for 5 days (Monday to Friday). They will learn to work with various techniques, materials, shapes and colours and will be introduced to art in a playful way. For children aged 5 to 12.
