From Saturday, 4 July to Sunday, 19 July 2026, we will be working on the metro tracks (trackt 2 and 4) and platforms at Amsterdam Zuid station. Therefore, metros to and from Amsterdam Zuid station will operate on an adjusted schedule.
Check your journey in a travel planner before departure and allow for possible extra travel time.
Please note: After these works, the adjusted timetable will remain in effect until mid-August. GVB is working on the metro track near RAI station.
Work
We are completing the platform canopies of the Brittenpassage (including a new electrical connection below) and working on the track. At metro track 2, we are renewing the upper part (the so-called bearings) of the deck on which the track rests. And we are connecting metro track 4 to the marshalling yard.
