From Friday 17 October, 10:00 PM to Monday 20 October 2025, 5:00 AM, the A4 will be closed from the Badhoevedorp interchange, A10 Zuid (South) (between S108 and S109) towards the A1 Hengelo/A2 Utrecht. The A10 West to the A10 Zuid (South) (from exit S107) will also be closed.
Diversions
- From Haarlem/Alkmaar via the A5 or via the A4 to the A10 Zuid up to the S108 exit
- From Schiphol/Rotterdam via the A9 Amstelveen/A2 and A10

- A4 towards Amsterdam from the Badhoevedorp interchange, for traffic from Schiphol and Amstelveen
- A10 South towards A1 Hengelo and A2 Utrecht between exit S108 and exit S109
- A10 West towards A10 South Hengelo/Utrecht (from exit S107)
Open
- A4 in the direction of Amsterdam for traffic from the A9 Haarlem. Traffic can continue to the S108 Oud Zuid/Buitenveldert exit
- S109 access road in the direction of the A2 Utrecht
- From the A4 to the A10 West in the direction of Leeuwarden/Zaanstad
- A4 in the direction of Schiphol/Rotterdam
- A10 Zuid in direction of Schiphol/Rotterdam
- Road connecting the A10 West to the A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam
Works
We are renovating Amsterdam Zuid station. New platform roofs are being installed from the A10 South. Work is taking place at the De Nieuwe Meer interchange (A10 West to A10 South) for the future flyover.
Additional travel time
Please allow an additional travel time of 30-60 minutes. Due to the Amsterdam Marathon there will be extra closures and traffic rush in and around the city. Trains will operate on a modified schedule on 18 and 19 October from and to Amsterdam Zuid station.
