From Tuesday 6 May to Friday 27 June 2025 (working hours between 07:00 AM and 07:00 PM) the Anthony Fokkerweg will be closed from no. 59 to the Vliegtuigstraat. This closure also applies during the Ascension and Pentecost weekend.
Diversion
Motorized traffic will drive via Pilotenstraat. Through bicycle traffic will drive via Valschermkade and Pilotenstraat. Pedestrians and cyclists can only reach the businesses on Anthony Fokkerweg via the north side. Follow the diversion signs.
Work
There will be several closures from May 6 to October 3, 2025, construction consortium Triax will then carry out preparatory work on the Anthony Fokkerweg and the A10 West. The work is part of the reconstruction of the De Nieuwe Meer junction. The A10 West (inner ring) must also be adjusted for the widening of the A10 South. We are installing sheet piles in the verge of the A10. We will mainly do this from the Anthony Fokkerweg.
