From Sunday, 1 November 2026, the Spoorslag footpath will be closed between Amsterdam Zuid station (Gustav Mahlerplein) and Beethovenstraat.
Detour
From 1 November 2026, the station entrance will be located in the new passage (the Brittenpassage), a bit further towards Parnassusweg. Pedestrians will then reach Beethovenstraat via Arnold Schönberglaan, Gustav Mahlerplein, and Gustav Mahlerlaan. Cyclists can reach Beethovenstraat fastest via Gustav Mahlerlaan.

The location is being used as a construction site for the renovation of Amsterdam Zuid station.
