What exactly are we doing?
We are working on the widening of the A10 Zuid. The A10 Zuid is having two extra lanes in both directions for local traffic added to it. To make this possible, it is also necessary to carry out work at the De Nieuwe Meer junction to make changes to the A10 West. During Whit weekend, we will be installing sheet piling at the side of the road from the A10 West.
Even more closures
Even after Whitsun, there will be further closures of the A10. A weekend later, from 13 June until 16 June, the A4 and A10 Zuid will be closed in the direction of the A1 Hengelo and A2 Utrecht, from the Badhoevedorp junction to the Amstel junction. No trains will be running to and from Amsterdam Zuid station. The largest closure will happen between 26 June and 12 July. The A4, A10 Zuid and the A10 Oost will then all be closed. We will provide further updates in due course. This also applies to the road closures and trains and metros that will be out of service after that.
