12-15 December: connection from the A10 Zuid towards the A10 West closed

From Friday 12 December 22:00 until Monday 15 December 5:00, the connecting road from the A10 Zuid to the A10 West will be closed. Work will be carried out again at the De Nieuwe Meer junction to make the A10 Zuid safer and wider.

Where?

During this weekend, construction works continue on the new flyover for traffic from the A10 Zuid in the direction of the A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam. Several beams will be lifted into place to form the framework for the future road deck. For safety reasons, the road will be closed. Delays of up to 30 minutes are possible.

  • Road connecting the A10 Zuid and the A10 West in the direction of Leeuwarden/Zaanstad

Open

  • A4 in both directions
  • A10 Zuid in both directions
  • A10 West in the direction of A4 Schiphol/ A2 Utrecht
  • Road connecting the A4 and the A10 West in the direction of Zaanstad

Via A5, A10 Oost, A9/A4 (approaching from the A2) 

Attention: heavy transport

From Saturday 13 December 6:00 pm until Sunday 14 December 2025 3:00 pm, heavy transports carrying materials will run from our work site in Riekerweg to the A10 West. Traffic controllers will guide road users past the transport – provided it can be done safely.

From 16 February until 8 March 2026, we will be working next to the A10 viaduct across Amstelveenseweg on two construction gateways leading to our construction sites. The bus station will remain accessible but the main access to the metro station will be on the other side. There will be diversions in place for cyclists and pedestrians.

February: two weekends of road closures on the southern side of Amsterdam

During the weekends of 13–16 February and 20–23 February 2026, the A10 Zuid will be closed in the direction of the A1 Hengelo and A2 Utrecht, up to exit S108. From the A4 Schiphol, A9 Amstelveen and A10 West, additional travel time may increase by up to one hour.
