Kop Zuidas

Kop Zuidas is the most easterly neighbourhood in Zuidas and also overlaps with the Rivierenbuurt. It is a small-scale, mixed residential neighbourhood. Office buildings separate the neighbourhood from the A10 Zuid and Europaboulevard. This creates an attractive green neighbourhood, with Hogelandplein at its core.

The Zuidelijke Wandelweg (Southern Promenade) marks the boundary between Rivierenbuurt and Kop Zuidas. This road is traditionally linked to this part of Amsterdam: in the past, the Zuidelijke Wandelweg ran across the embankment on which the A10 Zuid Is now located.

In Kop Zuidas, there are many different types of housing: social rented, mid-market rented and private sector homes. All of this includes housing for elderly people with a care needs assessment, for student first-timers and refugees with residence permits.

Kop Zuidas is not yet completed. In the future, an office building will be developed alongside the A10 (plot K). Behind that, there will be more housing (plot L), combined with green areas.
