We will continue work on the foundations for the new metro viaduct above the eastern carriageway of Parnassusweg. The new viaduct is being built between the two existing metro viaducts. For safety reasons, this work cannot be carried out while road traffic is passing underneath. The entire northbound carriageway (towards the city centre) will therefore be closed.
Cycle path and footpath
The cycle path and footpath alongside this carriageway have already been closed for some time and will remain closed until early December 2026. Access to the train platforms will remain available, but only from the south side.
Diversion
During the works, motorised traffic will be diverted via De Boelelaan, Beethovenstraat and Strawinskylaan.
