On 7 and 21 February 2026, we welcomed more than 500 visitors for an exclusive preview of the new Brittenpassage – the second passenger tunnel scheduled to open by 2027. On the work site beneath the train and metro tracks and the A10 Zuid, you asked us everything you wanted to know.
Students will be able to stay for one additional academic year at Student Experience on De Boelegracht. The City of Amsterdam has extended the land lease agreement with the owner until 28 February 2028.
The regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid station, the widening of the A10 Zuid and the development of the Zuidas district all proceeded at pace in 2025. The construction of the tunnel and renewal of the Amstel junction also became part of the picture.
