In the period ahead, the basement floor of the Park Meadows residential towers will be poured and finished. The pouring of the concrete itself will be done during the day. Smoothing the basement floor – sometimes known as power-floating – may however continue until the next morning. This is because this cannot be done until the concrete has fully hardened. This hardening is affected by the weather, which is difficult to predict. Unfortunately, nuisance caused by noise and lights will be unavoidable in the local area.

The pouring and smoothing of the basement floor is currently scheduled for 5, 18 and 31 March 2025. This schedule could change, depending on the weather. For example, the works may be postponed in the event of heavy rainfall or frost. The contractor will announce any changes to the schedule on its own website.

Park Meadows

Plot 6/7 is located next to Beatrixpark. In the area between the offices of AkzoNobel and Stibbe, the St. Nicolaaslyceum and the Kapel & Convict buildings, Breevast is developing ‘Park Meadows’. It will include 213 residential flats, a combination of owner-occupied, mid-market rented and private-sector properties, spread across two buildings. In January 2025, we took a look at the construction site. Park Meadows is scheduled for completion in 2027.
