The works include installing a drainage pipe (allowing us to locally lower the groundwater level) and planting trees. The works will take place between Hogelandplein and Eemlandstraat. On the side of SUD and Zuidoever, a strip of paving will be removed to install the drainage pipe. The trees will then be planted in specially prepared soil.
Three larger public green spaces
The Kop Zuidas neighbourhood, the easternmost part of Zuidas bordering Rivierenbuurt, will feature three larger public green spaces: Hogelandplein, Voorplein (the entrance to the neighbourhood between Terrace Tower and CROSSOVER), and the park along the Kleine Wetering. The public space around plots L2 and K will only be given its final layout after construction is completed. For now, this area has a temporary layout.
Kop Zuidas neighbourhood
Kop Zuidas is the easternmost neighbourhood of Zuidas and transitions into Rivierenbuurt. It is a small-scale, mixed-use residential area. Office buildings separate the neighbourhood from the A10 Zuid and Europaboulevard. This creates an attractive, green living environment, with Hogelandplein at its heart.
