The construction of five new artificial grass pitches and a new club building for the Amsterdamsche Football Club (AFC) at the Goed Genoeg sports park in Zuidas is finished.
The construction work was phased so that football matches could continue as usual during the project. The new sports park has five new artificial grass pitches. Incidentally, the site is not owned and managed by the AFC but by the city council. The AFC is the primary tenant. A number of local schools are also able to access the sports park, and children from the surrounding residential area Ravel (which has not yet been built) will also be able to kick a ball around. The new club building was ready by mid-2020.
