Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-Tac-Toe is the first housing construction project in the new Ravel residential district. It is set to deliver 75 family homes, averaging 80 sq. m., in the mid-market rental segment, most of which will be offered to families first.

Flexible design

The layout of the apartments, made up of almost square rooms measuring 3 x 3.3 m, can be adjusted by means of movable walls in order to create more rooms or larger rooms. Because of this, the rooms can be modified to match each ‘phase of life’ of the family.

Flora and fauna

The lowest 30 m of the façade will be characterised by carefully coordinated planting and hiding places for small birds living nearby (sparrows, finches, tits). Closer to the roof, the façade becomes more rocklike in nature, mimicking the habitat of the animal life at this height, such as swifts, starlings and bats. There will also be nectar-rich planting for insects and special planters that will collect rainwater. Colour-changing solar panels will generate energy in the façade.

Neighbourhood living room

Each floor will feature communal areas that can be laid out as residents see fit. The ground floor is 7.5 m in height and boast such facilities as a bicycle storage facility, hospitality outlets and a living room that is openly accessible. This will enable Tic-Tac-Toe to develop into the living room for the neighbourhood.

Construction starts at the end of 2024 / beginning of 2025.
