From Monday 3 February to and including Friday 14 February 2025, the cycle path on the west side of Amstelveenseweg near the A10 South will be closed for two weeks. We will then make room for the future widening of the A10 South. Bicycle traffic will be diverted via the Piet Kranenbergpad.

Diversion for cyclists and pedestrians
During this period, bicycle traffic will be diverted via the Piet Kranenbergpad, which we will temporarily open especially for this work. Good to know: the cycle path on the other side of the Amstelveenseweg is passable in two directions and is therefore a good alternative. Pedestrians will be guided along the bus platform past the work, helped by traffic controllers on weekdays between 7:00 and 19:00. Other traffic will not be affected.

Please note:

  • Bicycle parking at Amstelveenseweg station
Due to the work on the west side of Amstelveenseweg station, we advise cyclists to park their bicycles on the east side of the station, on the side of the Amsterdam UMC (location VUmc).
  • Closure of Jachthavenweg in the direction of Bosbaan
A little further south, the Jachthavenweg in the direction of Amstelveen is closed due to other work. Follow the diversion signs on site
