From Friday, 1 August to Saturday, 20 September 2025, we will be removing various medium-voltage cables, telecom conduits, and an electricity cable belonging to Rijkswaterstaat (the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management) from Matthijs Vermeulenpad. During this period, Waternet will be relocating a drinking water pipeline that is currently in the way so that several grouted anchors next to the WTC can be removed.
Diversions
Because we’re carrying out the work in phases, the station area will always remain accessible. On Matthijs Vermeulenpad, we’ll only be working on one side at a time, keeping the other half accessible.
