We are installing 17.5 m long foundation piles for the piled embankment, which is where the extra lanes of the A10 Zuid will ultimately be located. Over a four-week period, we will be working our way towards Piet Kranenbergpad from the west and east. The works will then meet at the footpath/cycle path. This is all part of a major operation to install around 4,000 piles into the ground next to the A10 Zuid. This work will be completed in 2026.

We will be working on the north and south side of the A10, on both sides of the Piet Kranenbergpad which is located underneath

Also closed during morning rush hour

The work will be right next to Piet Kranenbergpad. Because of the danger of falling piles and/or machinery, this path will therefore be closed for four weeks on working days between 07.00 and 16.30 – in other words also during the morning rush hour. It will however be possible to access Piet Kranenbergpad outside working hours and at weekends.

Please note Piet Kranenbergpad is already closed until mid-2026, except during the morning rush-hour (08.00 – 09.30) and afternoon rush hour (16.30 – 18.00). However, because of these works, Piet Kranenbergpad will now also be closed during the morning rush hour between 13 October and 14 November.

Diversion

Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via Amstelveenseweg.

Again another unnecessary closure, for an unnecessary project. We don't need this to our life at all. Why do we bring more car into an area where thousand of people cycle every day?
