The works form part of the activities that could not be carried out last weekend because of a fault in the traffic signalling system (overhead matrix signs). Disruption to road users will be limited to the closure of one lane of the A10 Zuid. The S108/Amstelveenseweg exit will remain accessible.
Pile mattress
Since 1 June, we have been installing the final 500 piles for the so-called pile mattress required to widen the A10 Zuid. This weekend’s works will complete that phase of the project.
More catch-up work
Next weekend, we will lift the girders into place for the new southern Schinkelbrug bridge – another operation that had to be postponed because of the fault in the overhead matrix signs. We will provide more information about these works during the coming week.
