Dutch parliament and Amsterdam City Council notified of contract for renovation work at Amsterdam Zuid station

On 15 April 2022, the Dutch House of Representatives and Amsterdam city council were notified of an important step in the renovation of Amsterdam Zuid railway station: the awarding of the contract for phase 1 of the station renovation.

Meanwhile, the construction consortium Nieuw-Zuid has already begun work on the new station passage under a separate contract. That work concerns the completion of the foundations, so that in 2023 the remaining roof section for the new pedestrian underpass can be put in place. The A4 and A10 South will be closed between 22 July and 3 August 2022 between the Badhoevedorp intersection and the S109 RAI exit.
