- Friday evening, 11 July – Wednesday evening, 20 August: closed to motorised traffic.
- Friday evening, 11 July – Wednesday evening, 20 August: footpath and cycle path on the east side, between Fred. Roeskestraat and De Boelelaan.
- Friday evening, 11 July – Wednesday evening, 20 August: eastern entrance to Amstelveenseweg metro stop.
- Friday, 11 July – Saturday, 19 July: cycle path on the east and west side of Amstelveenseweg.
- Saturday, 12 July – Saturday, 19 July: tram 24 will not be running between Stadionplein and De Boelelaan.
- Friday, 11 July – Saturday 12 July: S108 access road in the direction of Hengelo/Utrecht.
- From 21.00 on Friday, 11 July until 00.30 on Saturday, 12 July, the S108 Oud Zuid – Buitenveldert exit for traffic from the direction of Hengelo/Utrecht.
- Friday evening, 11 July – Saturday, 19 July: no taxis in Amstelveenseweg.
Open
- S108 access roads and exits to Amsterdam Oud Zuid and Buitenveldert, except on Friday, 11 July and Saturday, 12 July.
- Cyclists heading in and out of the city can make use of the west side of Amstelveenseweg (bus/tram stop). Except from Friday, 11 July until Saturday, 12 July, when cyclists will be able to use Piet Kranenbergpad.
- Pedestrians will be directed past the work.
Public transport
- Throughout the entire period, buses will still run past the works via Amstelveenseweg.
- The Amstelveenseweg metro stop will only be accessible from Amstelveenseweg via the west side (bus/tram stop).
- Saturday, 12 July – Saturday, 19 July: tram 24 will not be running between Stadionplein and De Boelelaan.
- Friday evening, 11 July – Saturday morning, 19 July: no taxis in Amstelveenseweg. After that, taxis will be able to drive past the works.
Diversion from Amstelveenseweg
- If you are driving in Amstelveenseweg on the south side of the A10 and wish to reach the north side, you should travel via the A10 Zuid to S109 RAI, turn around and take the A10 to the S108.
- Rijdt u op de Amstelveenseweg aan de noordkant van de A10 en wilt u naar de zuidkant? Rijd dan via de A10 Zuid naar de A4 afrit 1 Sloten, keer en rijd over de A10 naar de S108.
- Cyclists and pedestrians heading in and out of the city can make use of the west side of Amstelveenseweg.
- 11 to 19 July: cyclists will be diverted via Piet Kranenbergpad. This diversion will be signposted.

Major congestion likely
On several days, the closure of Amstelveenseweg will coincide with various other major events and works.
Weekend of 11 – 13 July
- The first weekend when Amstelveenseweg will be closed coincides with the start of the school holidays in the Noord region.
- On Saturday, 12 July, the A10 Zuid and the A10 Oost in the direction of A2 Utrecht and A1 Hengelo will still be closed. The A10 Oost will reopen before the morning rush hour and the A10 Zuid will reopen at 21.00 in the evening.
- After the A10 Zuid has reopened at 21.00 on Saturday, 12 July, Rijkswaterstaat (Public Works Department) will be closing the Coentunnel in the direction of Zaanstad on the same evening in order to carry out maintenance. It will remain closed until 15 September.
- On Friday, 11 and Saturday,12 July, the De Amsterdamse Zomer festival will be held at the Olympic Stadium. Amstelveenseweg metro station will then be closed for safety reasons.
19 July – 18 August: Parnassusweg closed
From Saturday, 19 July until Monday, 18 August 2025, Parnassusweg will be closed in a northerly direction (heading into the city) between Gustav Mahlerlaan and Strawinskylaan. This is because Amsterdam regional transport is building a temporary tram stop. Further information via 020-5273700, info@vervoerregio.nl.
