1 December: walk-in meeting about Parnas neighbourhood
In the Proxy temporary exhibition space on Monday, 1 December 2025, we will be organising a walking evening about the landscaping of the public area around the future Hartwig Museum. Your questions and ideas are welcome.
This concerns the public area around the future Hartwig Museum and alongside the still to be developed plots C2 en C3 in Fred. Roeskestraat. During the meeting, we will explain the draft design for the public space, the planting concept and the planned area for pedestrians. We are interested in finding out what you think of the design. There will also be an opportunity to put questions to the Hartwig Museum, for which a representative from the organisation will be attending.
The red dotted line shows the section that we are relandscaping.

In July and August 2026, the underpass beneath the road and railway viaducts in Beethovenstraat will be closed to cars and buses for four weeks. During this period, we will be preparing for the construction of the A10 tunnel. Further along, the Beethovenstraat/Ravellaan junction will also be redesigned.
During the second of four participation phases, we discussed the final design for the new carriageway with local residents and stakeholders. For the service road and green spaces, the preferred option was the 'De Fitte Boele' design. Here is an update on the redesign of De Boelelaan Midden.
We are carrying out a survey into the accessibility of the different neighbourhoods in Amsterdam Zuid. For example, are there pavements that are difficult to use or pedestrian crossings that feel unsafe or confusing? We would very much like to hear your views. Will you complete our online questionnaire (in Dutch)?
