We will be closed from Monday, 22 June until approximately Monday, 10 August while we move everything to our new premises on the ground floor of the WTC, including the Zuidas scale model, the model of Amsterdam Zuid station and the virtual walk through the station. There, conveniently, our new location will have its own entrance just a few metres from Zuidplein. This means we are closing the doors of our current Information Centre Zuidas-Zuidasdok. Where can you find us in the meantime?
Pop-up ‘pipowagen’ Gustav Mahlerplein
Throughout the relocation period, we will remain available by telephone (0800-5065) and via this website. In addition, we will be setting up a temporary base – the pipowagen – on the other side of the station, on Gustav Mahlerplein. From Monday to Thursday, between 10.00 and 17.30, our information cabin will be staffed and open to visitors. Feel free to drop by for a chat or join one of our lunchtime walks.
Summer Tours
From Monday to Thursday, our public information officers, Gijs and Jelte, will lead a guided walk through Zuidas from 12.00 – 13.00. They will tell you all about the development of the Zuidas area and the ongoing Zuidasdok works. No registration is required. We look forward to meeting you at 12.00 at the pipowagen on Gustav Mahlerplein. (Tours may be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions.)
New Information Centre Zuidas-Zuidasdok
The relocation is the result of the complete makeover of the WTC building on the east side of Zuidplein. Our new location is on the ground floor, with an entrance on Matthijs Vermeulenpad, just around the corner from Zuidplein. If all goes according to plan, we will reopen to the public on Monday, 10 August. For the latest updates and news about our new Information Centre, please keep an eye on this website.
