From Friday, 10 July at 22.00 until Sunday, 12 July at 12.00, the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam will be closed as far as exit S108 for traffic coming from Schiphol and Amstelveen. The road connectiong the A10 West to the A10 Zuid will also be closed. Traffic approaching from the A4 Schiphol, the A9 Amstelveen and the A10 West should expect additional journey times of up to one hour. Traffic on the urban road network in the western part of Amsterdam, including around Hoofddorpplein, may also experience delays of between 30 and 60 minutes.

Catch-up works

These works form part of the activities that could not be carried out during the weekend of 26 June because of a fault in the traffic signalling system (overhead matrix signs). This weekend, we will lift girders into place above the Jaagpad on the western side of the new southern Schinkelbrug bridge (bridge 9). This means there will also be temporary traffic stops on Jaagpad.
