Works
We are working on the renovation of Amsterdam Zuid station. We are constructing a construction pit near the current station passage, from which we will soon be able to rebuild the passage. To the east of the station, we are building the future Vivaldipassage. A large train deck is ready there, which will soon form part of the roof of this bicycle and pedestrian tunnel. Over the past few weeks, we constructed the foundations on which the deck will rest. From May 13 to 17, we will remove all tracks, slide the deck into place, and rebuild the tracks. And all this in just five days; after that, trains will run over it again according to the normal schedule.
