From Monday, 20 July 05.00 to Monday, 17 August 2026, 01.00, Beethovenstraat will be completely closed to car traffic. Buses will be diverted via Strawinskylaan and Parnassusweg. The closure concerns the section of Beethovenstraat between Christian Neefestraat and The Valley building on the south side.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be granted passage via either the west or the east side of Beethovenstraat.
Work
During this period, we are carrying out preparatory work for the construction of the A10 tunnel. We are clearing the subsoil of cables and pipes and laying a pipe (culvert) in Beethovenstraat that connects the water on both sides.
