Sheet pile walls to be vibrated into the ground from Wednesday 23 January

Construction work has been in full swing in and around A. Vivaldistraat since November 2018. A sewer is being laid in Vivaldistraat at a depth of 5 metres. In order to do this, we need to make a construction pit by driving sheet piling into the ground. We first tried to do this using a low-noise method, but without success. We need to use extra force to get through the hard bottom layers of soil and reach the required depth. This means that between 8 and 10 a.m. for approx. two weeks starting on Wednesday 23 January, we will vibrate a number of sheet pile walls into the last metres of the ground. This method causes a certain amount of noise and vibration disturbance.
