On the evening of 19 August 2021, major work began again on the second pedestrian passageway for the Amsterdam Zuid station: the Brittenpassage. How will we go about this? And what will it all look like later on? Watch the video.
During the night of Thursday 19 to Friday 20 August 2021, train track 4 and metro track 1 have been removed, as have the cables and pipes underneath. All to enable the roof sections (right) to be moved into place on Saturday morning 21 August.
The construction of the Brittenpassage is the first tangible part of the complete renovation of the Amsterdam Zuid station. Much more will happen in the coming years. We invite you to take a look.
