Night-time traffic disruption on the A10 In the direction of the A4 Schiphol

On the night of Thursday, 23 November 2023, we will be closing three carriageways on the A10 in the direction of A4 Schiphol between 22.00 and 05.00. During the works, traffic will use a single carriageway. The works may be audible in the local area.

We are carrying out various works, including the removal of some shoring using a small crane on the A10. This shoring supported the embankment where the most northerly metro track runs. Anchors will now be installed on the embankment, which is why the shoring is no longer needed. We are also removing some temporary supports that we previously placed on the guard rail alongside the A10.

Weekend of 25/26 November: metro 50/51 will have only one track in use

In the following weekend of 25 and 26 November, from 01.00 on Friday night until 05.00 on Monday morning, we will be working continuously in the Brittenpassage underneath the most southerly metro track. We will be installing anchors to reinforce the steel piling in the construction pit and carrying out maintenance work on the track. We expect minimum disruption to the local area.

Because of the nature of the work, the most southerly metro track will be out of service. All line 50 and 51 metro trains, and in both directions, will temporarily depart and arrive from the same platform. The metro service has been adjusted accordingly. Please keep a close eye on the information provided at the station or check the timetable on 9292.nl
