Plot L2 is located in the Kop Zuidas neighbourhood and, together with The Newton, forms a triangle at the heart of the neighbourhood. The buildings share a courtyard garden. Plot L2 will see the development of a building with around 400 homes (40% social rental housing, 40% midmarket and 20% in the upmarket segment).
There will be a community healthcare centre on the ground floor. This will have space for a GP practice, a physiotherapist or a pharmacy.
Last construction project
The building on plot L2 can be developed when the building on plot K has been completed. This means that L2 will be the last construction project in Kop Zuidas. The building was planned to be completed by the end of 2028. Unfortunately, this is now uncertain due to the overload of the power grid (so-called net congestie).

The development of the final two plots in Kop Zuidas is set to take quite a while. With residents’ help, we have come up with two design proposals for the temporary landscaping of the area. We presented them at an information evening held on 23 April 2024.
In September 2023, the Kop Zuidas neighbourhood expressed its views on the temporary landscaping of plots K and L2. In the period before development starts in 2026, people would prefer to see plenty of green areas and space for recreation, sport and play.
The Kop Zuidas neighbourhood is almost complete. There are still two more plots to be developed, but work on them will not start until 2026 at the earliest. In the meantime, they are to be given attractive temporary landscaping. Do you have any suggestions on what it should look like?
