For us, the summer of 2024 is all about the regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid station. We are removing the metro track for lines 50 and 51 in the direction of Isolatorweg. This is because we will be moving two huge concrete sheets underneath the track. One of these will serve as the roof for the additional passenger tunnel – the Brittenpassage. The other will be the roof of the existing Minervapassage, which is being completely renovated. This metro track also need to be positioned much higher.
Meet the Zuidasdok builders
Anyone who has been following our activities will know that we cause disruption – for public transport passengers and road users. And we can already announce that next year is set to be an awful lot worse. This may be a reason why it will be worth the effort coming to see for yourself why all this disruption is necessary. We will be happy to escort you to locations where you will gain an impression of the amazing achievement that the Zuidasdok builders are in the process of delivering. What do we have to offer you?
Guided tours of the regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid Station
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, our guides are standing by to show and tell you everything about the regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid station. Our tours start from the Zuidas-Zuidasdok Information Centre (just next to the station in the WTC).
Join our traffic experts behind the scenes
On Saturday, 13 July, we will be giving a select group a glimpse behind the scenes together with our traffic experts. On that day, the A10 Zuid will be closed in the direction of Schiphol/The Hague, so make sure you arrive by bike or public transport. We will meet at the construction hut in Gustav Mahlerplein (to the right as you exit the station). You can watch and listen live as we explain our sterling efforts to direct traffic onto the diversion routes. It promises to be quite spectacular (and complex).
The little caravan
We will be happy to talk to you in our ‘little caravan’ in Gustav Mahlerplein. Simply drop by. You’ll find us there on:

- Thursday, 11 July from 14.00 until 16.00

Information Centre
Will you yourself actually be on holiday? Or are these dates inconvenient for some other reason? If so, feel free to visit us at the Zuidas-Zuidasdok Information Centre. There is a giant model showing the gradual development of Zuidas and Zuidasdok. You can also take a virtual stroll through the new station. We are open from 10.00 until 16.00, Monday to Thursday. The Zuidas-Zuidasdok is located in tower 5 of the WTC, just next to Amsterdam Zuid station. It will definitely be worth the effort.
