3 July: meeting to discuss works in Prinses Irenebuurt area

A lot of construction work is taking place between Amsterdam Zuid station and Prinses Irenestraat. In the upcoming period, there will also be works in and around the station. On 3 July 2023, we are organising a walk-in meeting at the Thomaskerk to update you on what is happening.

Where in Zuidas

Construction work on the Strawinskyhuis and Tower Ten is expected to be completed this year and the renovation of PI59 is now in progress. In the slightly longer term, we will also be working on the public space. In the meantime, we are hard at work on the regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid station. In order to update you on what is scheduled to happen in the upcoming period, we are organising an information meeting at the Thomaskerk between 18.00 and 21.00 on 3 July. There will be various stalls where City of Amsterdam experts, contractors and developers will provide information on each project. There is no need to register in advance and you can just walk in.

Zuidasdok

Representatives from Zuidasdok will also be attending the walk-in meeting. They will be able to provide you with full details of the regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid station, the eight-day closure of the A4 and A10 Zuid in August and the closure of the Parnassusweg station entrance until the start of September.

PI59 pocket park

At the meeting, we will also present a draft design of the pocket park next to PI59. We previously asked for your ideas on its landscaping. Around 800 people responded. We have drafted a design based on that feedback. We look forward to your response at the walk-in meeting.
