Where in Zuidas
The meeting will be held in the RAI exhibition centre, from 19.00 until 20.30 on 28 March. You must register in advance and there is room for 500 people. At the meeting, the Mayor will provide a briefing on the Erotic Centre. There will also be an opportunity to put questions to the Mayor and express your concerns or doubts about the preferred locations. At the Erotic Centre, there will be approximately 100 jobs for sex workers: women, men, trans people/LGBTIQ+. There will also be space for care facilities, security, hospitality, entertainment, culture and education.
Two locations in Zuidas
Amsterdam has three locations in mind for a new Erotic Centre: two in Zuid and one in Noord city district. Both locations in Zuid are in Zuidas. These are ‘De Groene Zoom’, located next to nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel; and a place in Europaboulevard to the south of the A10, in the ‘armpit’ of the S109 exit. These locations, together with the location in Noord city district, are the result of a careful survey of locations in eight possible areas. The area around Zuid/RAI is one of the key search areas. A careful assessment has been made of accessibility and amenities. In these three areas, the police believe that there is less risk of nuisance or safety incidents, subversion, issues with young people and drug dealing than in other places in the city. At the end of 2023, the Amsterdam City Executive will make a decision on the definitive location.
Relationship with Zuidasdok
The two possible locations in Zuidas are in the areas affected by Zuidasdok. The location in the ‘armpit’ of the S109 is not only in the area affected by the works, but also in the Zuidasdok routing area. This means that this location requires central government approval to enable access to the land.

You can register here. There is room for 500 people at the meeting. You can also watch it virtually via the live stream. Several days in advance, you will be sent confirmation as to whether you can attend in person.
Zuid city district: opinion and hearing
The Amsterdam City Executive has asked the Zuid District Executive Board to give its opinion on the two preferred locations for the Erotic Centre. For this purpose, the district committee is organising two meetings: on 3 April and on 12 April.
