The A10 Zuid is set to close: come and see why

You hopefully already know that the A4 and A10 Zuid will be closed from the Badhoevedorp interchange in the direction of Utrecht/Hengelo from 22.00 on 5 August until 05.00 on Monday 14 August. The A10 will remain open as normal on the other side. There will be a reduced train service. For personal travel advice, you can consult Ask&Go. This will cause serious disruption, but never fear: we plan to ensure that there’s also some fun to be had! So, get on your bike or take the metro, tram or bus – or even walk – and come along and take a look.

Summer Shack in Mahlerplein

Since 20 July, the Zuidas Zomer Keet (Zuidas Summer Shack) has been in Mahlerplein (next to the station). We are organising countless activities there and there are some new additions to our programme starting in the week of 7 August.

What’s on the agenda between Monday, 7 and Friday, 11 August? An overview:

Spectacle from the platform

At Amsterdam Zuid station, we’re digging up around 100 m of the A10. We’re also removing two railway tracks. Interested in taking a look? Register now to view it from close up. You can also be briefed by one of our experts.

Decorate a sheet pile!

We’re installing large numbers of sheet piles into the ground and normally that would be the last you see of them. But not now. There’s a piece of sheet pile wall next to the Zuidas Zomer Keet in Mahlerplein. You can come and help decorate it, and even bring the children.
