12 March: market at our Information Centre

Although there will be nothing on sale, it will definitely be worth the effort coming along to our Information Centre in the WTC on tuesday 12 March 2024. At our market, you will have an opportunity to see, hear about and experience some of the major developments in your neighbourhood. You can even do some speed-dating.

At every stall and in every room of the Zuidas-Zuidasdok Information Centre, our specialists will be on hand to chat with you. They can tell you all about the regeneration of Amsterdam Zuid station, for example. You can even take a stroll through the future station passageways, across the metro and railway platforms and past the tram and bus stops.

A10 Zuid

Others will be happy to tell you all about the A10 tunnels set to be built at the heart of Zuidas. Of course, there will also be people who know everything about the widening of the A10 Zuid, between the De Nieuwe Meer and Amstel junctions, major works that you are certain to notice in the course of this year.

Zuidas district

Of course, you can also find out lots about the development of the Zuidas district. What plans are there for the near future? How are 1,350 homes going to get built on the site between AFC and De Boelelaan? Or around 2,700 homes in the Kenniskwartier innovation district? There is also a great model of Zuidas with lots to see and hear about other developments in the area. The staff from the Zuidas organisation will also be joined by colleagues from the Zuid district.

Do you have any specific questions? Perhaps you have something you want to get off your chest? At our home base, you can discuss it all in a one-to-one conversation with our staff.

Opening times

The market is open between 12.00 and 13.00 and between 18.00 and 19.00. You do not need to register, simply walk right in. Registration is necessary for an additional programme only.

Additional programme

As an extra part of the afternoon market, we are organising a guided tour through the second station passageway currently being built underneath Amsterdam Zuid station, the Brittenpassage. As an extra part of the evening market, our information officers will be giving an exciting presentation alongside our model.

Guided tours of Zuidas and Zuidasdok
Every last Saturday of the month, you can take part in a free guided tour (in Dutch). As you walk, you will gain a unique perspective on the development of Zuidas and the Zuidasdok infrastructural project.

The Zuidas-Zuidasdok Information Centre is open from 10.00 to 16.00, Monday to Friday.
