On 15 November 2023, we are organising two walk-in meetings at the Zuid City Office for residents, businesses and others stakeholders interested in the future regeneration of the Amstel interchange by Zuidasdok. You are warmly welcome to attend.
The replacement of the southern Rozenoordbrug on the A10 Zuid will be part of the reconstruction of the Amstel interchange, one of the Zuidasdok projects. ‘The city of Amsterdam is developing. We need to be sure we have the capacity to keep pace with it.’
On 5 April 2023, we spoke to around 75 residents, businesses and interested parties. It proved to be a very valuable meeting – we now have a clear picture of what the important topics are. In this article, we take a look at them.
At the De Nieuwe Meer interchange, we are experimenting with so-called BioBlocks: compressed waste from plant materials on which new plants can grow. We aim to use them in the future to create green walls on either side of the A10 Zuid.
The Zuidasdok meetings scheduled for 24 and 25 November about the De Nieuwe Meer and Amstel interchanges will not go ahead. Because of the stricter coronavirus restrictions, we will be unable to organise these physical meetings in a responsible way.
The Zuidasdok programme includes some major work on the De Nieuwe Meer and Amstel interchanges. We are organising meetings to inform you about this on Wednesday 24 and Thursday, 25 November 2021. They will also include information about other Zuidasdok projects.
