In April, we held an information meeting about the restructuring work in the central section of De Boelelaan. The meeting focused on the draft design for the green section, the building of the art bridge and the new infrastructure. We promised to report on what was discussed.
The central section of De Boelelaan, between Beethovenstraat and Parnassusweg, is being redeveloped, adding a new green section and bringing changes to the traffic situation. A meeting about it is being held on Tuesday, 12 April 2022, both in person (fully subscribed) and online.
We last reported on the central section of De Boelelaan on 23 October 2020. Work is now fully underway, fortunately, and we will be able to inform you about the final designs next year.
Space for greenery and nature. That’s what residents would like to see in the central section of De Boelelaan when the street is re-landscaped. In mid-September 2020, more than 250 residents used an app to share their opinions.
In a few years we are going to redevelop the middle section of the De Boelelaan, situated between the Beethovenstraat and the Parnassusweg. Part of this, is a new green bank along the De Boelegracht. Think and talk along via the Opp App.
On 20 March 2020, the City Council approved its policy document (Nota van Uitgangspunten) outlining the basic points of departure for the new layout of the central section of De Boelelaan, between Beethovenstraat and Parnassusweg. This is the first step towards redevelopment.
